Hope for the future

1 in 4 children don’t know where their next meal will come from.

Did you know that many of the children you see right in our communities every day are going hungry? They’re not just missing out on food — they’re missing out on education, too.

You can help change that.

Make a difference in your community.

Since we opened our doors nearly a decade ago, we’ve served more than over 17 million meals and delivered over 231,000 books to local children. Help us keep it going and make a difference for your littlest neighbors with meals and books that keep them well-fed and well-read!

Together, we can end hunger and illiteracy for local children.

At Hunger Fight, we believe all children deserve access to food and education to give them hope, consistency, and security. The problem is that many children in our own backyards go hungry every day — both physically and mentally— and they’re left feeling scared, depressed, worried, and angry.

No child should have to go hungry.

We understand the impossible choices many families are forced to make every day when it comes to food, shelter, and safety. That’s why we’ve spent nearly a decade packing and distributing millions of meals and hundreds of thousands of books across Northeast Florida and the Panhandle, serving up to 17,000 children every week.

Help make a difference for children in your community today by hosting a packing event! We’ll provide everything you need to transform the raw ingredients into full meals; then, we’ll distribute them to your neighbors who need them most.

Eradicating hunger and illiteracy is an ongoing war, not a battle, and we can’t win this war alone. Make plans to host a packing event today, and join us in the fight to end hunger and illiteracy and give local children the hope for the future they deserve. And in the meantime, download the hunger stats in your area (they may surprise you).

As an administrator, we see the impact hunger has on a child’s behavior, academic performance and well being. Since our students have been receiving weekend meals from Hunger Fight, we have seen a remarkable change in their attitudes and school performance. Thank you, Hunger Fight, for caring about our students!
