Hunger Fight was delighted to announce North Florida Pediatrics as their Heritage Partner. North Florida Pediatrics, a Lake City, Florida headquartered practice, committed to providing the children of North Florida with quality, compassionate healthcare, has agreed to a lifelong partnership to end childhood hunger and illiteracy.
“Having the expertise and consultation of such caring and compassionate pediatricians to help further our mission of providing not only food to children in need, but nutritious foundational meals, is something we have been longing for,” said Sherri Porter, Founder and Executive Director of Hunger Fight.
With 10 offices in the North Florida area, North Florida Pediatrics is a central resource for all of a child’s healthcare needs. Part of that comprehensive care will be working with Hunger Fight to identify children in need and making sure they are provided with meals and books.
As a Heritage Partner, North Florida Pediatrics will have a room named after them at the current and future Hunger Fight headquarters. You will also start to see joint branding on meal pouches and the Feed the Need to Read book bags.
