The Hunger Fight team, along with a few volunteers, traveled 2,218 miles away from home all the way to Salt Lake City, Utah this past October for a monumental, two-day, million meal packing event to benefit the Utah Food Bank. Imagine 80 tables full of a countless number of volunteers packing meals over two days to help those less fortunate. Because of these selfless individuals and the Silicon Slopes Serves initiative, this event was a huge success with 1,142,540 meals packed. Hunger Fight was able to lead volunteers in packing our Cheezy-Mac meals that were used to feed those families facing hunger or food insecurity in Utah. Hunger Fight was truly moved by the generous efforts of everyone involved who made this impossible dream a reality.
